Virgo from Wyrd Syster by Acid Magus
Keenan's wife's star sign is Virgo. Originally we recorded her doing a spoken word piece over the music. It was dropped at the last minute because we felt that the message was maybe slightly too direct and a bit jarring in the greater context of the album.
Keenan is busy working on a side project with his wife called Mad Girl's Moral Disorder. More on that soon!
As a band, we don't aim to produce filler on our records. Virgo may seem like filler, hell, it is filler. It was however an intro part on a whole new song that we abandoned given the maximum run time required for vinyl. Who knows, maybe that music will pop up again sometime.
