I always did what I was told to do. I went to school. I finished college. I got a job. In my mother’s eyes I was a “golden” child. 4 months into my safe, well-paying, corporate job, I quit. As a developing songwriter and recording artist diving into real life, I didn’t have a fully thought-out plan.
