This track unfolds in reverse, a deliberate deconstruction; the initial expansive orchestration, built on fuzz-drenched guitars and spectral soprano, slowly erodes. We spent a week just dialing in the initial guitar wash, aiming for something that felt like a crumbling cathedral, not just a wall of sound. It was about creating that immediate sense of immense, beautiful decay. The lyrics, fragments of memory and fractured light, are carried by ethereal vocals that drift above a sparse percussion line, anchoring the dissolution. For us, this track became the blueprint for the entire album, a raw admission that sometimes the only way forward is through absolute collapse. It should feel less like listening and more like witnessing, a meditative surrender to an ending that, surprisingly, holds its own strange liberation. That lone voice at the close, stripped bare, was a moment of true vulnerability captured in the studio, a quiet testament to what survives when everything else yields.
