Going too far below the human quest itself,
with a dying inner light in my hands.
Darkness chewed all the attempts,
stole and inhaled every breath, every breath!
But I still find myself lost
along these selfhood roads.
Trying to bottle the absurd up in logic,
unlike the rage flooding my tears.
Fears delve deep into everything I believe in,
or at least what of it remains.
An innerdread grown from the innerscape
I searched for and unveiled,
knowing there would be no way back.
No form of escape.
An expedition among unfathomable
cracks in the prismatic light of ego,
from which dazzling colors unknown
flee above to paint a dome.
There I can’t discern future from past,
answers from questions.
This fatal fresco just worsens my obsessions.
Torn between acceptance and denial,
with the last drops left from the ink of reason.
Fears delve deep into everything I witnessed
or at least what of it remains.
A downfall begun from the innerdread
I tried to ignore and contain,
knowing there will be no rest or truce,
knowing I’m stuck in a circular path called pain.
