first heard ramblin jack on a cassette tape i bought at the ernest tubb record shop in the mid 2000s
it was done old by then, its real old now
it sounded to me like music that was honest
broken enough to be real
purty enough to believe

so this seemed like the right thing to do,
being that there aint no more frontiers
and all
and ramblin jack done sang all the good ones
and time is on a death march
and these are but snap shots of a several sparks...
the sparks that i have chased all my days

so here is some sawngs i made up
and a few sawngs i interpreted
they aint up to commercial standards
i am aware
