Here we are exploring #polyStylism.
This is about taking existing art and combining it into new artworks. Then choosing the parts we like from that and recombining it into newer artworks.
The goal is to get more people excited about these creations to get them inspired to recombine them into even newer creations to inspire us to restart the whole process once again.
It’s ‘Full Cycle’, but that name is already taken by the record label of some of our favorite producers.
Albums are supposed to be journeys into sound from start to finish. The journey would not be exiting if it didn’t take you to all kinds of unexpected places.
So don’t expect only one genre, it’s polystylistic.
The longest track is that long because of something Grooverider said about songs in that genre.
Don’t remember the exact way it happened, but he once replied to someone that send him a 4-minute demo: “I like it. Where is the rest?”
And the name is a throwback to a track with a similar name, but different sonic character. It can be considered its grandchild.
If you listen from start to finish, we start in the '90s and '80s, and who knows where we’ll end up.
Enjoy!
