The hatred,
The horror,
The wretchedness,
Grasping, clutching me
Into the darkness
Seeping in through every crack,
Unbridled in it's swelling dread,
Detached,
Muddled through the passing of time,
Growing within me,
The abhorrence, The repugnance,
Of the trajectory of filth consuming us whole
Foul in judgement,
And lack of sight,
Indifference seeps through,
The sweltering light,
Apathetic in it's touch,
Unforgiving in it's monotony,
Loathing in it's essence
Decaying in repetition,
A hellish beacon,
Calling us forward,
Laying unseen in the blur of time,
Yet festering evermore,
Aided by the fissure of the modern world.
