When I was a child, I knew a man and woman who had survived the Holocaust. I understood, as much as a child can, that they had been through something horrible beyond words. Now, with most people who experienced the horrors of that time no longer with us, I believe we, those who knew them, must make sure they are not forgotten. We must do everything we can to stop such things from happening again.

The evil pen of evil men
Marked Albert and his wife
Long ago, they starved him
Very close to death
And every day he fought so hard

At the age of 39, Aaron Smith took his old guitar out of the closet after 15 years, turned the skills he'd learned as a novelist toward lyric writing, learned to sing, and wrote and recorded his first EP, "Red Wolf Mist" over the course of the years 2016 to 2019. His second album, "Sand in the Hourglass" was released in August of 2021.
