After their 1st joint album "daydream", 97SPECIAL and SHOGONODO are back with a new lofi-sounding project entitled "seasons".
The 2 artists worked on this double album for 2 years, with the aim of collaborating with new artists. This album is a real return to their roots, with more boom bap textures and a jazzy timbre.
The project is made up of 21 tracks, including 10 collaborations, each of which in turn gives rhythm to the album, telling a story that unfolds over the course of the seasons.
We are joined by our friends Saib [reflections], HappyCook [tokyo memories], Yutaka Hirasaka [shizuku], Suuna [place of soul], Tohaj [guruma], Stuckinwaveforms [inner rain], Stuffed Tomato [caffè sospeso], Elijah Nang [blue note], Pehoz [someday] and NaBs [awake] on this album, always in family.
