If you want her to WANT to dive into you: Don't blow up in fury around her. Don't expect her to care for your every ill emotion, others are delicate too and might not be able to handle dark shit sometimes. Respect her opinion when it contradicts yours. Don't chastise her when she wants to make a living beyond just making art. Make her feel beautiful. Remind her once a day. Pay attention to when she's sad. Hold her. Don't break her emotions down while she's still swimming to stay above them. Respect that each of you are humans who have lizard brain irrational thoughts and voice them with that disclaimer so those thoughts don't grow into hurt, paranoia, distrust, or shame. Do not attempt to blen d your lives financially. Just don't. Be an independent person, cause money makes new relationships awkward. Work above all to understand the living fuck out of each other. Accept irrationality. Listen to her. Grieve her losses with her, regardless of if you've had significantly worse. Never say "it could be worse" when she's suffering. That never helps. Never make her feel like you need her in order to not die/kill yourself. Even if you feel like you do. Counter your complaints with something you're happy/excited about.
