Recorded at Dream Hog Studio with Steve Price (The Suburbs, Trailer Trash, Rex Daisy), “Nice” is a f*cked-up fairy tale propelled by massive guitars and loopy chants. It contains multitudes: lawn chair rockets, monster boots, bad rabbits, and a Greek-chorus refrain that laments, “This is why we can’t have anything nice!” With this song, 13 Howell fights fire with satire, shouting away the terrors of a world filled with disinformation, tinfoil hat conspiracies, and Florida Man in all his guises.
