The Sonny Downs Quartet

The Sonny Downs Quartet makes microtonal music using the Buchla 200e modular synthesizer, on the lush green coast of Eastern Australia surrounded by subtropical rainforest.
The Quartet uses just intonation, a natural tuning method which uses intervals based on simple ratios, rather than the more common 12 tone equal division of the octave.
