THE ANTHRONAUTS are a Swiss Afrobeat band of the third generation. Their music is inspired by the timeless music of the ancestors of Afrobeat as well as by the innovations of second-generation bands like Antibalas from Brooklyn, New York. They remain true to the musical principles of the genre, but also play with influences from rock, jazz, and dub.
