Penknife was formed in 2019 by singer-songwriter and traditional folk musician Tegan Boni. The band features long-time collaborator Rob McLay along with Connor Wooldridge and Ben Fukuzawa Alchemizing their combined musical influences of folk, slowcore, math rock, and the unnamed niches in between, the four have cultivated a sound that is uniquely modern and timelessly familiar.
