Penelope Torribio
If you like story songs you will like Penelope. At 30 she had never played an instrument or sung outside her bathroom. She picked up a guitar and soon had a band, was voted vocalist of the year for the CCMA and with her ability to write melodic country story songs and humorous songs she has opened for many noted performers including Jerry Lee Lewis, George Straight and the Sons of the Pioneer.
