Parakeet Nelson is the funky alter ego of songwriter and producer Chris Cates. As a band, Parakeet toured for many years with a line up of phenomenal musicians and legendary players. Until recently, Parakeet has been on hiatus but now he's back with some funky and funny new dance songs that will be released as singles and albums over the coming year.
