Fiji Mermaid
Fiji Mermaid was named as one of the founders of the "new (neo- or freak) folk movement" in 2004 in the Bay Area, after her album "Green Pond" came out. Her original songs were aired on many college radio stations, and she performed at the Mission Creek Music Festival in 2005 and 2006. Her latest (fifth) release is 2024's "Fiji Mermaid V."
