I played in rock n' roll bands in high school in the sixties. I decided to expand my music horizons by getting a degree in music with an emphasis on vocal music and songwriting. My first album came out in 1989 called Ordinary Guy. I have since added 6 more albums following my retirement from 40 years of teaching. My mother's best friend in high school was Paul Desmond. So, Jazz is in my blood.
