Bernard van Rossum is tenor and soprano saxophone player, composer, arranger and educator from the Netherlands.. He grew up in Spain. Bernard leads the quartet by his name and also The BvR Flamenco Big Band. He teaches at Amsterdam and Rotterdam Conservatories. He was recently announced winner of the Rogier van Otterloo Award, including a composition assignment for the Jong Metropole orchestra.
